Godrej Properties has finalized the outright purchase of a prime 47-acre land parcel off Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) in South Chennai. This strategic acquisition is set to capitalize on the region’s surging residential demand. The company plans to transform the site into a premium plotted residential development boasting approximately 12 million square feet of developable potential and an estimated revenue value of ₹500 crore.
Situated near key employment and commercial corridors—including SIPCOT, Siruseri, Kelambakkam, and Vandalur—the project offers homebuyers seamless connectivity alongside easy access to top-tier schools, healthcare, and retail hubs.
Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, highlighted the area's potential: "South Chennai is seeing a clear evolution in residential demand, with homebuyers increasingly gravitating towards well-planned, future-ready communities that offer quality of living and long-term value.
