Hyderabad-Bangalore NH-44 gets six-lane underpass boost!

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has recently released a tender for the expansion of the existing four-lane Hyderabad-Bangalore section of NH-44. This project involves the construction of four six-lane underpasses, spanning from km 89 to km 124 in Telangana. The initiative is a crucial part of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' (MoRTH) comprehensive strategy to address identified black spots, specifically TG-02-75, TG-02-97, TG-02-174, and TG-02-59.

The contract, valued at Rs 122.97 crore, will follow the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model and is slated for completion within 18 months. Furthermore, the project includes a maintenance period extending over five years. Interested parties are invited to submit their bids, with the deadline set for February 14, 2024.
