Maharashtra Gears Up for Speed: NHAI Invites Bids for 6-Lane Highway

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is currently accepting bids for the construction of a six-lane highway in Maharashtra. This project encompasses the development of a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway, spanning from Nagobachiwadi village to Katgaon village in the Ahmednagar-Solapur Akkalkot Package-III section, as part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana initiative (from km 415.500 to km 482.600), covering a total length of 67.100 km.

The awarded contract, valued at Rs 3,117.11 crore, will be executed on a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) basis, with a project duration of 24 months.

Interested parties are invited to submit their bids by the deadline of 19 February 2024.
