MoRTH Announces Rs 134 Crore Project to Improve NH-314 in West Bengal

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has issued an invitation for bids for a performance-based maintenance project, which includes the replacement of current pipe culverts with box culverts in Bankura and Purulia districts of West Bengal.

The project entails the reconstruction of box culverts at various chainages, including 5.956 km, 6.105 km, 14.888 km, 17.634 km, 23.747 km, 29.514 km, 66.155 km, 67.180 km, 69.690 km, as well as widening of an existing box culvert at chainage 4.276 km. Additionally, permanent measures to address accident-prone areas at chainage 5.800 km on NH-314 (formerly NH-60A) from chainage 0.000 km to 83.562 km are part of the scope.

The contract spans 60 months and is valued at Rs 134.09 crore.

The deadline for bid submission is March 27, 2024.
