New Six-Lane Highway Corridor in Bihar: Bids Now Open!

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is launching a major infrastructure project with an invitation for bids to construct a new six-lane greenfield corridor. This initiative is part of the Amas-Darbhanga highway expansion in Bihar, aiming to enhance regional connectivity and support economic growth.

The project entails building a six-lane corridor extending from Ramnagar to Kacchi Dargah on NH-119D, covering a stretch from km 109.70 to km 122.30. Additionally, it includes widening the existing NH-31 from km 196.70 to km 198.60. This work will be executed under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model, ensuring comprehensive and efficient project delivery.

With an estimated cost of ₹465.46 crore, this ambitious project is set to significantly improve transportation infrastructure in Bihar. The completion timeline for this major development is slated for two years, promising a substantial boost to regional connectivity and infrastructure.

Interested parties have until September 4, 2024, to submit their bids. This initiative represents a key opportunity for contractors and infrastructure firms to engage in a high-impact development project.
