The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for widening and upgrading the Kaliabor–Numaligarh stretch of NH-37 (new NH-715) in Assam to a four-lane configuration.
The project covers chainage from km 315.315 to km 400.990 and will be executed in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode. Valued at ₹4,829.14 crore, the contract has a completion period of 36 months and includes a 10-year maintenance period.
A key feature of the project is the incorporation of wildlife-friendly measures along the stretch passing through Kaziranga National Park (KNP) to minimize ecological disruption. The initiative aims to improve regional connectivity while aligning with NHAI’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally sensitive infrastructure development.
The last date for bid submission is 3 December 2025.
