KRCL has issued a tender for the construction of tunnel road in Kerala

Konkan Railway Corporation (KRCL) has released a tender for the construction of a twin-tube unidirectional tunnel road project, featuring two lanes in each traffic direction, located in the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts of Kerala.

The scope of the project encompasses the creation of twin tunnels and a four-lane approach road, facilitating direct connectivity between Anakkampoyil-kalladi-Meppadi over a distance of 8.275 km, spanning from km 0.460 to km 8.735 under Package-II.

The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract has an estimated development cost of Rs 1,643.33 crore, with a stipulated completion timeline of 48 months from the appointed date.

Prospective bidders are required to submit their proposals by the 23rd of February 2024.
