JVVN Announces PM-KUSUM Grid-Connected Solar EoI

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam has issued a call for expressions of interest (EoIs) for the development of grid-connected solar power plants under the PM-KUSUM Component-A scheme. These projects will be carried out in the Sub Divisions of Dechu, Phalodi (City and OM), and Lohawat within the Phalodi Circle, as well as in the Balesar Division of the Jodhpur District Circle and the Pali and Sojat City areas under the Pali Circle.

The estimated cost for the Dechu and Phalodi Sub Divisions is Rs 263.62 crore, while an investment of Rs 188.3 crore is projected for the Balesar Division. The Pali and Sojat City Divisions will require an investment of Rs 267.65 crore. These solar plants will play a significant role in bolstering the state's renewable energy capacity and will provide clean, sustainable power to the grid.

The projects will be executed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model, with a 25-year operational period.

The deadline for submitting EoIs is 28 April 2025.
