NHPC Invites Bids for 1,200 MW Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh

NHPC has issued a tender for the selection of developers to establish 1,200 MW of solar power capacity at the Jalaun Solar Power Park in Uttar Pradesh.

The project will be implemented as four units of 300 MW each through tariff-based competitive bidding. The Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date (SCSD) is set at 18 months from the effective date of the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plants, along with their operation and maintenance in line with regulatory and contractual obligations.

Once operational, the project is expected to:

Deliver green energy to the national grid, Enhance energy security, Drive local employment and infrastructure development in the Jalaun district

The deadline for bid submission is 08 September 2025.
