ACME Sikar Solar Seals 25-Year Deal for 300 MW Rajasthan Project

ACME Sikar Solar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan at a fixed tariff of ₹3.05 per kWh. The agreement follows the successful commissioning of the project on 23 June 2025.

The project was awarded under SECI’s Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) Tranche XVIII, and the tariff was approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) in May 2025. Under the PPA terms, power supply must begin by 30 June 2025. As the project achieved Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) ahead of this deadline, it qualifies for an ISTS charges waiver, in line with government incentives for early renewable energy commissioning.

With this addition, ACME Solar’s total PPA-backed portfolio has reached 5,130 MW, of which 2,890 MW is operational. The remaining capacity is under implementation, while an additional 1,840 MW is supported by Letters of Award (LOAs). Notably, 86% of its offtake is secured with central government entities, and 14% with state discoms, underscoring the company's strong offtake reliability.
