Fujiyama Power Systems, a leading rooftop solar solutions provider in India, has commissioned its 1 GW solar cell manufacturing plant in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.
Inaugurated by senior officials from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), the facility marks a major milestone in the company’s manufacturing expansion. Strategically complementing Fujiyama’s existing operations, the Dadri plant adds to the company’s current 1.6 GW solar module capacity, including 1.2 GW already based at the same location. The new solar cell output will be entirely for captive use, enhancing supply-chain security and reducing dependence on imports.
The plant will produce Mono PERC DCR solar cells, positioning Fujiyama to better serve subsidy-driven domestic demand. The project was completed with an investment of ₹300 crore, funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. Pawan Kumar Garg, Chairman and Joint Managing Director, stated, “The commissioning of our solar cell manufacturing facility at Dadri represents a significant step in strengthening Fujiyama’s manufacturing integration.”
