Gujarat Green Leap: ACME Solar Commissions 16 MW Wind

ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned an additional 16 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Surendaranagar, Gujarat, raising the project’s total operational capacity to 44 MW.

Developed in phases, the first phase of the wind farm commissioned 28 MW in October 2025. The expansion increases ACME Solar’s overall operational capacity to 2,934 MW. The project, financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC), has received an extension for its scheduled commercial operation date (SCOD) from the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission, now set for 5 March 2026.

The electricity generated will be supplied under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.
