CCSIA Hits Airside Milestone with New Parallel Taxi Track Section

Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) has achieved a major airside capacity milestone by commissioning an 804-metre segment of its master-planned 2,864-metre parallel taxi track.

Developed alongside the Airports Authority of India (AAI), this infrastructure enhancement is designed to reduce taxi times by up to four minutes, optimizing apron traffic and runway turnaround. With daily traffic averaging 125 to 135 flights, the newly active segment offers immediate operational relief, while full project completion in March 2027 will prepare the airport for sustained regional aviation growth.
