Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke has provided a comprehensive progress report on key infrastructural and operational developments. Addressing the long-awaited acquisition of a 13-acre Indian Air Force land parcel crucial for airport expansion, Dhoke noted that the process is advancing smoothly with replacement offices already constructed. To immediately enhance passenger experience, new buses have been introduced to streamline transit between the arrival terminal and the AeroMall. Additionally, the airport is preparing for the rollout of an innovative hub-and-spoke international travel model alongside the scheduled reopening of the renovated old terminal building to efficiently accommodate increasing passenger traffic.
