Warangal Wings: CM Pushes for June 2028 Airport Launch

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met with Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu to demand the expedited development of airports in Warangal and Adilabad. Regarding the Warangal project, the CM confirmed that land acquisition is finalized and is now seeking swift tender processing to meet a June 2, 2028, inauguration deadline.

The proposal aims to transform Warangal into a North Telangana aviation hub, leveraging its robust infrastructure to support local industries. The CM specifically requested the inclusion of MRO facilities and cargo infrastructure to maximize the airport's commercial viability and regional economic impact.
