Mahindra is advancing development on a massive 1,500-acre greenfield manufacturing complex in Nagpur, Maharashtra, beginning with an initial 800-acre land parcel at Additional Butibori. Designed for flexibility, the facility will accommodate internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs), and tractors, boasting a total annual capacity exceeding 600,000 units. Operations will be reinforced by a dedicated 150-acre supplier park located in Sambhajinagar to streamline component supply. Over the next two to three years, experienced personnel from existing plants will transition to staff the site, which will significantly scale Mahindra's production capacity for SUVs, EVs, and tractors.
