Nittan Expands: Doubling Valve Production in India

Nittan India Tech, a subsidiary of Japan’s Nittan Valve Company, inaugurated its expanded manufacturing facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, on October 24, 2025.

The expansion doubles the plant’s production capacity from one million to two million valves per month. The facility has been enlarged by 7,350 sq. metres, with an additional ₹41 crore investment, bringing Nittan’s total investment in India to ₹257 crore. The project also creates 100 new employment opportunities, reinforcing the company’s growing presence in the Indian automotive components market.

Key dignitaries, including Lee Tai Hwan, President of Nittan Corporation, and Sunder from Hyundai Motor India, lauded the expansion as a significant milestone reflecting Nittan’s commitment to quality, innovation, and long-term growth in India.
