Quantum Energy Expands Big in Hyderabad

Hyderabad-based EV startup Quantum Energy has announced the expansion of its advanced manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram, near the proposed Future City in Hyderabad. Covering 2.4 lakh sq. ft. and boasting an annual production capacity of two lakh units, the facility is designed as a net-zero premises, reflecting the growing need for sustainable industrial infrastructure.

The expansion comes in response to increasing demand for Quantum Energy’s electric two-wheelers, including models like Plasma, Milan, and Bziness, as well as upcoming vehicles tailored for Indian road and climate conditions. With a strong focus on last-mile connectivity and affordable, eco-friendly mobility solutions, the company aims to transform the electric two-wheeler market in India.

The expansion is also expected to drive significant employment opportunities in the region.

Commenting on the development, Chakravarthi Chukkapalli, Managing Director of Quantum Energy, said:
