RPG Group Plans Greenfield Tyre Facility in Madhya Pradesh

The RPG Group is exploring the establishment of a new greenfield tyre manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh as part of its broader expansion strategy, according to Chairman Harsh Goenka.

Building on its existing manufacturing footprint in Jabalpur, the group is evaluating fresh investments to deepen its presence in the state. Alongside the proposed tyre facility, RPG Group plans to deploy additional capital to expand its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) business. These potential investments follow a recent high-level meeting between Chairman Harsh Goenka and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to discuss collaborative opportunities for industrial growth in the region.

While the greenfield plant is still under evaluation, concrete details are expected to emerge as the feasibility and planning phases advance. If realized, this expansion will significantly strengthen the group's manufacturing capabilities in central India while boosting local economic development.
