114 MW Wind & Solar Drive JSW Energy’s 13 GW Milestone

JSW Energy commissioned 114 MW of renewable energy capacity in September 2025—including 21 MW of solar and 93 MW of wind—bringing its total installed capacity to 13,211 MW.

In Q2 FY26 alone, the company added 443 MW of organic renewable capacity, including a notable 20 MW floating solar project at Vijayanagar. Renewables now account for 57% of JSW Energy’s total capacity, comprising 3,709 MW of wind, 2,213 MW of solar, and 1,631 MW of hydro.

The company’s total locked-in generation portfolio stands at 30.5 GW, including 13.2 GW operational, 12.5 GW under construction, and 150 MW under acquisition in hydro assets. In addition, JSW Energy holds 29.4 GWh of energy storage capacity across hydro pumped storage and battery systems.

Aligned with its long-term sustainability goals, JSW aims to achieve 30 GW of generation and 40 GWh of storage capacity by FY30, while targeting carbon neutrality by 2050.
