A New Flow for India: Yokogawa Delivers Advanced AXG Flowmeters

Yokogawa India (YIL), a leader in industrial automation and process control, has achieved a key milestone with the first delivery of its next-generation AXG magnetic flowmeters in Maharashtra. The delivery, facilitated through Adept Fluidyne—now a wholly owned subsidiary of Yokogawa—underscores the company’s growing local footprint and commitment to supporting India’s industrial growth.

The ceremonial handover took place on 11 July 2025 at Adept’s Pune facility, attended by senior leadership from Yokogawa. Key dignitaries included Katsuya Ikezawa, Director, Yokogawa India; Hiroshi Nagai, President, Yokogawa Manufacturing Corporation; Hiroshi Tanoguchi, Senior Vice President & Executive Officer, CTO and Head of Yokogawa Products HQ; and Vinayak Gadre, CEO, Adept Fluidyne.

Founded in 1983, Adept Fluidyne has delivered over 70,000 magnetic and ultrasonic flowmeters across industries such as water, wastewater, and process automation. Since 2010, it has expanded into IoT-enabled smart metering, gateway devices, and flowmeter calibration services. With a strong nationwide sales network and exports to more than 25 countries, Adept’s integration into the Yokogawa Group strengthens the company's ability to provide cutting-edge, scalable, and globally recognized solutions.
