AB Mauri India Private Limited is establishing a new spices manufacturing unit at Fanidhar Mega Food Park, Mehsana, Gujarat. The project aims to produce a variety of spices, including cumin, coriander, celery, dill seed, fennel, fenugreek, spice blends, and masalas. The plant will have a production capacity of 6,600 metric tons per annum.
Fanidhar Mega Food Park, Mehsana, Gujarat, is the location of the Spices production unit project, and AB Mauri India Private Limited is the developer operating the project. The total cost of the project was 30 crores. Consumables Spice mixes, masalas, cumin, coriander, celery, dill seed, fennel, and fenugreek are some examples of spices.
India's output of spices has increased, while the country's dependence on imported spices has decreased. An important contribution to India's ability to produce spices on its own. Gujarat's food processing sector is being encouraged to grow and develop.
As on November 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
