ACME Solar has begun operations of 68 MW from its total 100 MW wind power project located in Surendranagar, Gujarat. The project is being developed in phases through its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy.
Power generated from the project will be supplied to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The project has been financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC), further strengthening ACME Solar’s diversified renewable energy portfolio. The remaining capacity is expected to be commissioned in the near term.
Headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, ACME Solar currently has an operational renewable energy capacity of 2,958 MW and a total capacity under construction of 4,562 MW, which includes 15 GWh of battery energy storage systems.
