Adani Group's ₹600 Crore Logistics Park Launched in Kochi

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the groundbreaking ceremony of the Adani Logistics Park in Kalamassery on August 24, 2025.

The Adani Group plans to invest approximately ₹600 crore to develop the state-of-the-art facility on a 70-acre site near the HMT industrial area. Senior executives expected at the event include Ashwani Gupta, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ; Pankaj Bhardwaj, Business Head of Adani Agri Logistics; and Pradeep Jayaraman, CEO of Adani Vizhinjam Port.

Industries Minister P. Rajeeve confirmed that all necessary approvals have been secured, stating, “The project is expected to create at least 1,000 direct jobs, along with numerous indirect employment opportunities.” Officials also emphasised Kochi’s strategic location and its connectivity to Cochin Port and Vizhinjam as key factors attracting logistics investments.

The land, originally sold by HMT to Blue Star Realtors (a subsidiary of HDIL) for an IT project in 2004–05, had remained unused due to delays. The project gained momentum after the Adani Group acquired Blue Star Realtors in December 2018, clearing the way for the logistics park’s development.
