Aerolloy Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of PTC Industries, has successfully installed and commissioned a state-of-the-art Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace and associated infrastructure for superalloy manufacturing.
With this milestone, Aerolloy becomes one of the few companies globally capable of producing the world’s largest precision superalloy investment castings. The new facility will also manufacture superalloy ingots and cast sticks for critical applications in the aerospace and defence sectors.
This development significantly enhances Aerolloy’s manufacturing capabilities and strengthens India’s indigenous capacity in producing high-performance materials required for aero-engines, industrial gas turbines, space propulsion, and defence systems.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Sachin Agarwal, CMD of PTC Industries, said:
“This is a strategic milestone for both Aerolloy and PTC Industries. We now possess two world-class capabilities—producing the largest superalloy investment castings globally and manufacturing a wide range of Nickel- and Cobalt-based superalloys, including single-crystal variants.”
