Aimtron Electronics has secured a significant order from Vanix Technologies to supply 50,000 Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) devices, marking a major step forward in advancing smart manufacturing capabilities in India.
Production of the first batch is set to commence in October 2025, with completion expected by year-end. Over the next five years, Aimtron plans to scale up manufacturing to between 250,000 and 2 million devices. Financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.
“This partnership, following our initial agreement signed in December last year, reaffirms Aimtron's position as a trusted player in the ESDM (Electronic System Design and Manufacturing) sector,” said Mukesh Vasani, Founder and Chairman, Aimtron Electronics. “It also aligns with the Government of India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.”
The deal is expected to boost Aimtron’s growth pipeline and create new employment opportunities. India’s domestic IIoT market, currently valued at USD 7.12 billion, is projected to grow at a 21.18% CAGR, reaching USD 15.35 billion by 2029.
Vanix Technologies CEO Ashwani Rana added, “By combining Aimtron's manufacturing capabilities with our innovation, we are directly contributing to the expansion of India’s digital infrastructure.”
