Ambalika Sugar Plans to Expand Distillery Unit in Maharashtra

Ambalika Sugar Private Limited Expansion of distillery unit from 60 KLPD to 150 KLPD & sugar unit from 7500 TCD to 12000 TCD at Ambika Nagar , A/P Jagdamba Factory, Taluka Karjat, District Ahmednagar. Total Cost for project will be Rs. 475.25 Crores.

This industry proposes to additionally establish sugarcane based 4500 TCD Sugar mill. The peculiarities of manufacturing process.This industry has existing molasses based 60KLPD distillery unit & will proposes to expand 90 KLPD Distillery, i.e total capacity of distillery will be 150 KLPD. This industry has a Bagasse based 38 MW Co-Gen Power Plant. The peculiarities of manufacturing process.

The land requirement for proposed industry unit is already in possession and is not Prime Agricultural Land. This is flat l and whereby Cutting-filling will be balanced and there will be No/Low borrowing from Nature.

As on November 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
