Amber Enterprises India has announced an investment of ₹200 crore, to be deployed in phases, for setting up India’s first Quantum Cryogenic Components facility in Amaravati, as part of the Andhra Pradesh government’s Amaravati Quantum Valley initiative.
The announcement followed a meeting between Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Amber Enterprises Chairman and CEO Jasbir Singh. The facility will focus on developing advanced cryogenic solutions—a critical component in enabling quantum computing infrastructure—marking a significant step in building India’s indigenous quantum hardware ecosystem.
Welcoming the investment, CM Naidu said the project reinforces Andhra Pradesh’s emergence as a preferred destination for deep-tech and next-generation industries. Anchored by IBM and TCS Quantum Computer, and supported by the National Quantum Mission, the Amaravati Quantum Valley is envisioned as a centre for innovation, research, and advanced component manufacturing in the quantum technology space.
