Andhra-Georgia Alliance: SEU's ₹1,300 Crore Campus Deal Sealed

Georgian National University SEU is set to invest ₹1,300 crore to develop a new campus in the North Andhra region of Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh government formalized the initiative by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the university on Monday in the presence of State Minister for IT & Education, Nara Lokesh.

Highlighting the significance of the investment, Lokesh stated that the project would enhance global education opportunities for students and equip job seekers with internationally relevant skills. Additionally, the initiative is expected to create 500 jobs.

Established in 2001 and headquartered in Tbilisi, Georgia, Georgian National University SEU is recognized as a leading institution for international students, according to a statement from the state government.
