Andhra Growth: Greenpanel's New MDF Plant Goes Live

Greenpanel Industries has successfully launched its new medium-density fibreboard (MDF) plant at its existing facility in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh.

This development follows the company’s previous announcement on July 22, 2022, about the progress made during its Board Meeting. The newly operational plant boasts an installed capacity of 231,000 CBM annually and has begun trial production of thin MDF boards, with thicknesses ranging from 1.5 mm to 1.7 mm.

The plant's commissioning was delayed due to challenges in the delivery of imported plant and machinery, which were affected by the ongoing geopolitical crisis. However, production has now been successfully initiated, marking an important step in the company’s expansion strategy.
