Andhra Pradesh Hits Record 3.86 GW Renewable Surge in FY26

Andhra Pradesh added 3,865.63 MW of renewable energy capacity during FY26—nearly four times the 1,085.15 MW installed in the previous financial year. This surge marks a dramatic turnaround for the state’s clean energy sector following several years of modest growth, cementing its position as one of India's fastest-growing renewable hubs.

An official press release confirmed the nearly four-fold expansion, attributing the rapid growth to streamlined project execution, investor-friendly policies, and increased capital flow across solar and wind power projects.
