Andhra Pradesh Unlocks ₹53,922 Crore in New Investments

At the 10th meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) held on 28 August 2025, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu approved fresh investments worth ₹53,922 crore, projected to create 83,437 jobs across the state.

CM Naidu emphasized the importance of field-level monitoring and directed officials to accelerate approvals under the state’s “speed of doing business” initiative. Highlighting opportunities in food processing, he urged investors to focus on mango-based units in Chittoor and the Rayalaseema region, and called for MSME parks in every assembly constituency, integrated with “Ratan Tata Innovation Hubs” to enhance quality and innovation.

Notable project approvals include:

HFCL – ₹1,100 crore investment, 870 jobs, Apollo Tyres – ₹1,110 crore investment in Chittoor, 500 jobs, Krishnapatnam Tech Park – ₹1,843 crore, 19,000 jobs, Serentica Renewables – project in Anantapur, 320 jobs

These approvals reflect the state’s renewed push to attract high-impact investments and strengthen industrial and employment growth across key sectors.
