Apollo Adds 1,600 Beds in Major Push for Growth

Apollo Hospitals is set to add 1,600 new beds across key cities — including Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Kolkata — over the next 12 to 14 months to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare.

Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises, outlined the company’s next phase of growth, focused on capacity expansion and enhancing operational efficiency. The group is also witnessing a strong rebound in international patient inflows, particularly from Bangladesh, Iraq, Indonesia, Brunei, and Africa, fueling growth in its medical tourism business.

Additionally, Apollo is strengthening its insurance partnerships, especially for its new facilities in Pune and the Athena Women’s Oncology Centre, further broadening access to advanced healthcare services.
