Ashoka Buildcon Lands ₹447 Cr. Sion Flyover Expansion

Ashoka Buildcon has secured an additional work order for its ongoing project involving the construction of Flyover Arm-1 and Arm-2 at the T Junction on the Sion–Panvel Highway, Maharashtra Nagar, in the M/E Ward.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a letter approving the expanded scope of work valued at ₹447.21 crore. With this revision, the total project cost now stands at ₹1,573.79 crore, including taxes. The deadline for completing both the original and newly added works has been extended to 13 January 2028.

The expanded scope underscores the increasing scale and importance of the project, which aims to significantly improve traffic movement in the area. According to a company official, the additional work will enhance the project’s overall effectiveness and contribute to stronger transportation infrastructure in the region.
