Aster DM Healthcare has inaugurated its eighth hospital in Kerala with the launch of Aster MIMS Kasaragod, a 264-bed multispecialty facility aimed at enhancing healthcare access in Northern Kerala.
Built with an investment of ₹190 crore, the hospital spans 2.1 lakh sq. ft. and offers 31 medical specialties, equipped to deliver advanced medical and surgical care. The facility was formally inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, called the opening a major milestone in the Group’s expansion within the state. He emphasized that the new hospital brings specialist care and modern medical technologies closer to underserved populations, furthering Aster’s commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare across the region.
