AstorMueller AG, the Swiss footwear conglomerate behind prestigious European brands like bugatti, TT.BAGATT, and Salamander, has unveiled its Indian joint venture, nuvora, in partnership with Gaurik Group. This strategic collaboration highlights AstorMueller's ambition to capitalize on India's vast consumer market and its growing demand for premium international products.
The joint venture will adopt a multi-channel retail approach, blending both digital and physical store formats to target the top 20 cities across India. As part of the initial phase, nuvora plans to launch 10 to 12 exclusive bugatti brand stores within the current financial year. Sandip Baksi, CEO of nuvora, stressed the significance of a hyper-localized strategy to navigate India’s diverse and expansive market.
The Gaurik Group contributes valuable expertise in the premium retail sector, having operated exclusive outlets for numerous global brands in the country. Their deep understanding of the local market and established retail presence is expected to be instrumental in driving nuvora's rapid expansion. Sirish Kumar, CEO of AstorMueller India, expressed strong optimism about the partnership, stating, “We see tremendous potential in this collaboration and are confident it will transform the premium footwear market in India.”
This initiative marks a significant milestone in AstorMueller's global expansion, driven by India's increasingly affluent population and rising demand for high-quality fashion and lifestyle products.
