Adani Group's FMCG division, Adani Wilmar, has rebranded as AWL Agri Business following approval from its shareholders. This rebranding is aimed at better aligning the company’s identity with its focus on agriculture and food sectors, supporting its long-term growth strategy.
The company is nearing completion of its Rs 1,300 crore food processing facility, which is funded by proceeds from its 2022 IPO. This significant investment is expected to accelerate its capital plans. Looking toward FY26, AWL Agri Business is set to broaden its product range to serve both affordable and premium kitchen essentials.
In a significant move, Adani Enterprises decided in October 2024 to cancel plans to demerge its food and FMCG business from Adani Wilmar, due to the necessity of meeting minimum public shareholding (MPS) requirements.
