Bhilwara Energy LTD wants to create hydropower Project in Arunachal Pradesh

Bhilwara Energy Limited is establishing a new hydroelectric power plant in Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. The project aims to harness the hydropower potential of the Dibang River to generate clean and renewable energy. The plant will have an installed capacity of 2,880 MW, making it the largest hydroelectric power plant in India.

Hydroelectric power plant is the sort of project that will be carried out in the Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. The Bhilwara Energy Limited is the developer. Cost of the project was 32,000 Crore a capacity of 335 megawatts installed 11223 Million Units (MU) of yearly electricity output is anticipated to be generated.

As on November 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
