Bravo Sponge Iron Plans Gas Plant Project in West Bengal

Bravo Sponge Iron Private Limited is establishing a new coal-based gas plant at Mahuda Village, P.O. Rukni, P.S. Para, District Purulia, West Bengal. The project aims to produce syngas, a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, which will be used as a fuel for the company's sponge iron plant. The plant will have a capacity of 4800 Nm3/hr of syngas.

The project is a coal-based gas plant, and its location is Mahuda Village, Post Office Rukni, Postal Station Para, Purulia District, West Bengal. Bravo Sponge Iron Private Limited, the developer of the site The total cost of the project was 475 Crore. Syncgas with a capacity of 4,800 Nm3/hr The sponge iron plant's primary source of fuel.

As on November 2023,The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
