Bid Now: BPCL's 130 TPD Bio-CNG Plant in Bhilai

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has floated a tender for the development of a 130-tonne-per-day (TPD) municipal solid waste (MSW)-based compressed biogas (CBG) plant at the Trenching Ground in Jamul, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

The project, intended for commercial operations, will be executed under the Domestic Competitive Bidding (DCB) process. The proposed facility aims to convert MSW into compressed biogas, contributing to sustainable waste management while generating clean, renewable fuel.

This initiative is part of BPCL’s broader strategy to diversify into the renewable energy sector. The planned CBG plant will bolster the company’s efforts to build a robust green energy portfolio across India.

The deadline for bid submissions is 14 July 2025.
