Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd. (KNNL) has invited bids for the Phase-II implementation of the Sattigeri Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) in Savadatti taluk, Belagavi district.
The scope of work includes extending the rising main from 15.50 km up to Distributory Canals (DC) 1 and 2, along with the construction of anchor and thrust blocks, crossing structures, valves, and surge protection systems. Development of DC 1 and DC 2 and a gravity-based distribution network down to five-hectare chaks is also included.
The turnkey project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the LIS to irrigate 6,878 hectares in Savadatti taluk by lifting water from the Ghataprabha River. The contract also includes five years of post-commissioning operation and maintenance.
Estimated project cost: ₹241.28 crore
