Bids Open for IIMC Hostel Block Project in Kolkata

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has announced an invitation for bids to construct a new hostel block at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) in Joka, Kolkata. This ambitious project aims to enhance the campus infrastructure significantly.

The scope of work includes the construction of Hostel Block H1 along with the development of related infrastructure. It also involves the modification of the existing LVH dining hall, complete with new kitchen equipment and furniture, ensuring modern amenities for students.

The project is expected to be completed within 24 months and comes with an estimated cost of ₹234.98 crore. This substantial investment underscores the commitment to providing top-notch facilities for IIMC students.

Interested parties must submit their bids by 23 August 2024. The project offers a significant opportunity for construction firms specializing in large-scale educational infrastructure.
