Bids Open for ₹152.17 Cr Rail Upgrade Across Lucknow Division

The North Eastern Railway has invited bids for the execution of multiple infrastructure works across several railway stations, including Shajanwa, Maghar, Jagatbela, Piprauli, Khajani, Unwal, Baidauli Babu Halt, and Bansgaon.

The scope of work covers the construction of station buildings, staff quarters, overhead water tanks, platforms, subways, toe walls, and retaining walls in connection with the Shajanwa–Dohrighat new line project under the Lucknow Division. It also includes the development of circulating areas and associated roadworks to improve station access and connectivity.

Valued at ₹152.17 crore, the project aims to upgrade passenger amenities and operational infrastructure while supporting the rising demand for railway transport in the region. The bid submission deadline is 24 February 2026.
