Powering Up: Saatvik Green Energy Targets 8.8 GW Milestone

Saatvik Green Energy is preparing to significantly ramp up its manufacturing capacity, with plans to nearly double output from 4.8 GW to 8.8 GW through its ongoing expansion project in Odisha.

Expressing confidence in the company’s growth trajectory, CEO Prashant Mathur attributed the momentum to strong demand for solar equipment, capacity additions, and a widening product portfolio. Emphasising the company’s strategy, he said the focus remains on quality, high-technology products, backward integration, and expansion into allied segments such as inverters, pumps, and EPC services.

The new facility is expected to commence module manufacturing in the first quarter of the next financial year, with cell manufacturing scheduled to begin later in the year. This phased rollout is likely to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Backed by a robust order pipeline, Saatvik Green Energy expects sustained growth across its cell and module businesses.
