Bihar Invites Bids for ₹128.91 Cr Infrastructure Push at GEC Banka

The Building Construction Department, Government of Bihar, has invited bids for the construction of multiple facilities within the campus of the Government Engineering College at Banka.

The proposed project includes the development of a multi-sport indoor stadium, administrative and amenity buildings, a studio apartment block for associate professors, a guest house, a girls’ hostel, and a boys’ hostel. Valued at ₹128.91 crore, the project is aimed at upgrading campus infrastructure and providing modern facilities for students and faculty.

The initiative forms part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and community amenities across Bihar. The construction is to be completed within 18 months from the date of commencement.

The deadline for submission of bids is 10 March 2026.
