Birla Carbon is excited to unveil its ambitious plans for further expansion, with the establishment of two cutting-edge carbon black manufacturing sites in Niadupet, Andhra Pradesh, and Rayong, Thailand. This strategic move is aligned with the company's commitment to adapt to market dynamics and cater to the burgeoning demand in the rapidly growing markets of India and Southeast Asia.

Anticipated to commence operations in 2025, each of these state-of-the-art facilities will boast an initial capacity of 120 kMT. Birla Carbon is set to elevate its carbon black capacity by over 240 kMT, ensuring a reliable supply of its industry-leading products, characterized by unmatched quality and service. This proactive approach aims to facilitate the seamless growth of the company's clientele.

The selection of Niadupet and Rayong as the locations for these greenfield sites is deliberate, taking into account regional demand and specific customer requirements. Birla Carbon remains committed to prioritizing these sites based on their strategic significance.

Amidst this ambitious expansion, Birla Carbon remains steadfast in its commitment to ongoing initiatives. The post-treatment facility for expanding specialty capacity at Patalganga is progressing as planned, and the previously announced brownfield expansion plans in Hungary are also on track.
