Ceigall India has emerged as the H1 (highest) bidder in the financial bid opening held on 13 November 2025 for a tender floated by the Water Resources Department (WRD), Government of Punjab.
The project involves de-silting and clearing the choked creek bed of the Siswan River outfall in the Satluj River basin. The scope covers addressing sedimentation and agradation issues between RD 1680–2670 and RD 3000–4410 metres. With a 120-day completion deadline from the date of the agreement, the work is considered crucial ahead of the 2025 monsoon season to ensure efficient disposal of surplus material. The contract is structured on a royalty basis.
As a domestic entity, Ceigall India will execute the project, supporting ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance water resource management in the region.
