Century Plyboards Integrates Advanced Technologies in West Bengal Resins Project

Century Plyboards India Limited is making strategic strides in West Bengal with its upcoming Resins Manufacturing Unit in Kanchowki, 24 Parganas. With a substantial investment of 58 Crores, this project is a testament to Century Plyboards' commitment to meeting the escalating demand for Synthetic Resin in India. The unit, encompassing 0.86 acres, is projected to have a production capacity of 18,000 Tonnes Per Annum, as outlined in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report submitted to the West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB).

Under construction since July 2022, this initiative holds multifaceted benefits. Primarily, it addresses the surge in demand for resins, contributing to increased domestic production and reducing India's reliance on imported counterparts. Simultaneously, the project aligns with the broader economic goals by creating employment opportunities and fostering economic development in West Bengal.

With the completion anticipated in 2024, Century Plyboards India Limited's Resins Manufacturing Unit emerges as a pivotal investment, poised to bolster regional and national self-sufficiency while invigorating economic growth in the state of West Bengal.

As on January, 2024. Project building has begun. 40% of the project is done. The project will finish in December 2024.
