The Chhattisgarh government has received fresh investment proposals worth ₹1.25 lakh crore during the 'Industry Dialogue 2' event held in Raipur on July 1, 2025. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who presided over the event, stated that the investor interest reflects Chhattisgarh’s rising prominence in India’s industrial and economic ecosystem.
The proposals span a wide range of sectors beyond the state's traditional strength in mining. Notable areas of interest include Information Technology, semiconductors, healthcare, green energy, and logistics—indicating a significant diversification of Chhattisgarh’s industrial base.
“Regions like Bastar, once known primarily for security challenges, are now evolving into centers of industry, innovation, and employment,” the Chief Minister said. He added that this transformation is aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Developed India’. The state government remains committed to integrating underdeveloped areas like Bastar into the broader development framework, promoting inclusive and innovation-driven growth.
