Cosmic CRF Expands Manufacturing with New Forging Plant

Cosmic CRF, a leading manufacturer of railway components and infrastructure solutions, has announced a strategic expansion via its subsidiary, Cosmic Springs & Engineers Ltd. (CSEL).

On September 16, 2025, CSEL took physical possession of a 0.82-acre industrial land parcel to establish a greenfield forging facility. This new unit will focus on manufacturing precision-engineered components for railway wagons, defence, and industrial applications, with an installed capacity of approximately 11,000 TPA. Production equipment procurement is currently underway, with operations expected to commence within the next six months.

The facility will produce a range of critical components, including yoke pin supports, lock lift lever hooks, knuckles, struts, toggles, and others — reinforcing Cosmic CRF’s commitment to delivering high-performance solutions for mission-critical sectors.

This expansion marks a significant milestone in Cosmic CRF’s growth strategy, enhancing its capabilities as a comprehensive solutions provider for Indian Railways and the defence sector, while aligning with its focus on innovation, quality, and meeting increasing domestic and global demand.
